Words from the Gospel of St Matthew

Behold the birds of the air, for they neither sow, nor do they reap, nor gather into barns: and your heavenly Father feeds them. Are not you of much more value than they? {Matthew 6:26}

Pigeons in the park

And I saw an Angel standing in the sun, and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the birds that did fly through the midst of heaven: Come, gather yourselves together to the great supper of God. {Apocalypse 19:17}

Prayer for Humility

Prayer for Humility

Oh my Jesus, Mary and Joseph, I love you,

Teach me the wisdom of true Humility,

Give me the courage to accept from the Holy Spirit

Just what was, is, to be.

Let my thoughts be always Charitable

And help me to be Obedient

and give a Good Example to others.

Oh, my beloved, thou also My God,

Make my heart a flame of pure love for you.

Give me this virtue of Humility

To Know, Understand and live my life

In order to become like Jesus

At the hour and moment

at midnight in Bethlehem in piercing cold.

Forgive me Jesus, for all my weaknesses and temptations,

And help me to renounce the world, the flesh and the devil,

in order to live in a closer unity with my heavenly Father,

so that I may unite myself with you.

Amen.

Messages of Our Lady of Fatima available in 12 languages

Messages of Our Lady of Fatima now are revelant more than ever in history. Our Lady came down from heaven and appeared in humble village of Fatima to three little shepherds- Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia. This all was back in 1917. But today we look back at the history and our current state and we realise, we had to answer to Our Lady’s requests and warnings with the biggest respect and urgency.

Message of Fatima is a call urging us for Penance, Forgiveness, Hope + Love +Faith, Reflection on Eternal Life, a call to Devotion, Perfection, Holiness and Total Consecration. God entrusted His Message through his most holy Mother to the humble little shepherds of the Cova da Iria, in order to convey once again his perennial calls to the people of today. The entire Message of Fatima is a call to pay attention to His divine Law.

“The Call to Fátima” is a 2-part film documentary explaining the story and the message of Fatima in great detail. This film is based on the last visionary’s of Fatima  Sister Lucia dos Santos writings, namely her first book “Fatima in Lucia’s own words” and “Calls from the Message of Fatima”. Messages of Fatima are now available in 12 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Polish, Slovak, Latvian, Russian, Chinese and Arabic) via these books and “The Call to Fatima” film.

Sister Lucia’s last wish was to spread the Message of Fatima and make it known to as many poeple as possible. Our Lady tought this prayer to little children : “Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead ALL SOULS to heaven especially those most in need.” Please God, more and more people may learn, understand and evangelise the Message of Fátima, the Message of Penance, Forgiveness and great Hope. Ave Maria!

Pope gunman wants to visit Fatima shrine

Mehmet Ali Ağca, who shot Pope John Paul II, wants to attend annual ceremonies at Portugal’s Fatima shrine and meet with Pope Benedict XVI, who is also scheduled to attend, his lawyer said on Thursday.

Lawyer Hacı Ali Özhan told the Associated Press he has written to Portugal’s president and prime minister seeking permission for Ağca to travel there for the May 13 event. A letter was also sent to the Vatican, requesting a meeting between Benedict and Ağca at Fatima, Özhan said. Neither Lisbon or the Vatican have replied to the March 16 letters, which were made available to the AP. Ağca was released from prison in January after completing a sentence for the 1979 killing of Turkish newspaper editor Abdi İpekçi. Ağca shot John Paul II on May 13, 1981, as the pope rode in an open car in St. Peter’s Square, during a period in which he had escaped from prison. The pontiff was hit in the abdomen, left hand and right arm. The motive for the attack remains a mystery.

Sister Lucia wrote her last book “Calls from the Message of Fatima” for the world

Last visionary of Fatima Sister Lucia

Book “Calls from the Message of Fatima” is easy to read on account of the coherence and simplicity of the themes discussed and their applications.

Lucia is thus seen to be in full harmony with the faith of the Church and with the faith of simple people. This book runs parallel to the profound theological demands of the Christian life and also the vital breath of a popular, Christological and Marian piety, which is both simple and universal.

Sister Lucia reveals one of the most authentic qualities of true Marian piety: coherence with the Gospel, a profound ecclesial sense, the universality of the Christian message. She also wrote this book in the ability to dedicate both mind and heart, the realistic approach to the problems of life and death, of day-to-day life and the most authentic experiences which have as their point of reference the last realitie escatology: Purgatory,  Hell, Heaven. Many important and original things are woven into Lucia’s book. It reveals Mary’s commandment.

Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

The Call to devotion to

the Immaculate Heart of Mary

“Jesus wants …to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.”

To establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary means to bring people to a full consecration through conversion, self-dedication, intimate esteem, veneration and love. Thus, it is in this spirit of consecration and conversion that God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

We all know, that a mother’s heart represents love in the bosom of a family.  In fact, it is love which makes the mother bend over her  baby’s cradle, sacrifice herself for it, give herself, rush to the defence of her child. All children trust in the heart of their mother, and we all know that we have in her a place of special affection.

The same applies to the Virgin Mary. Thus the Message says: “My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

More detailed information and documented material about devotion to Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Message of Fatima can be seen on the DVD “The Call to Fátima”, which comes in combination with Sister Lucia’s last book “Calls from the Message of Fátima” http://www.thecalltofatima.com/

Sister Lucia of Fatima: Knowledge of God

everything is created by God“Who is God?

God manifests Himself also in the preservation of created beings. We see that the achievements of men are realised by using materials created by God; and, with time and use, these wear out, deteriorate and disappear.

How different is the destiny of the works which originate solely from the hand of God! Consider the sun: it has always the same strength, the same degree of heat, the same brilliance, follows always the same course laid out for it by God! The same is true of the moon, the stars, the planets, the earth, the seas and all that exists and was created by God!

It all must remain the same because that is what God wishes, since that depends on his omnipotent will. And they are here, before our eyes, indisputable witnesses to the power, the wisdom, the will and the eternal existence of God.

God created, for the good of humanity, many invisible forces, whose existence nobody doubts. Who, for instance, has seen the wind? We hear it, we feel it when it blows upon us, and we see its effects when it shakes the trees and tosses the seas. The same is true of oxygen, hydrogen, electricity, etc.

The person who believes in God is happy, because he knows he has a Father from whom all things come, yet is above all human paternity. He loves his Father, rests in his arms and lives for this Father who is goodness, mercy, forgiveness and love!”
