Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

“The new generation that God foretold would be born of this woman, will triumph in the battle against the progeny of Satan, to the point of crushing its head. Mary is the Mother of this new generation, as if she were a new tree of life, planted by God in the garden of the world so that all her children can partake of her fruit.

When we see how dependent the child is on its mother in early months of its formation in the womb, we could almost say that the heart of the mother is the heart of the child. And we can say the same of Mary, when She carried the Son of the Eternal Father in her womb.

Thus we see that devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary must be established in the world by means of a true consecration, through conversion and self-giving. In the same way, through the consecration, the bread and wine are converted into the Body and Blood of Christ, which were drawn with his very life from the Heart of Mary.

Hence it is that this Immaculate Heart must be for us a refuge and the way that leads us to God.
Mary, made one with Christ, is the co-Redemptrix of the human race.”

O Fátima, Farewell original song in Portuguese & English

O Fatima, Farewell! original song

O FATIMA, FAREWELL!

O Virgin of the Rosary
of Fatima dear Lady,
O dearest Queen of Heaven
to save thou’ art ever ready.
O Virgin of the Rosary of Fatima dear Lady,
As now we leave your sanctuary
once more we kneel before thee.

Refrain:
Just one more final prayer
as we leave, O Mother Mary!
May our hearts ever ring
with the words that we sing:
Oh Fatima! Farewell!
Mother dear, Farewell!

Before we leave O Mother
oh, hear our prayer of sorrow,
And save us from all danger
today, tonight, tomorrow.
Before we leave, O Mother
have mercy on our sorrow,
And ever be our guardian,
today, tonight, tomorrow.

O Mother as we leave you
the tears to our eyes are springing,
But still our hearts with happiness,
your love, your praise are singing.
O Mother as we leave you
our eyes with tears are dimming,
But though we weep at parting
our souls with love are brimming.

“Pray the Rosary every day!” asked Our Lady in Fatima

Sister Lucia was asked by Our Lady of Fatima to pray the Rosary every day![During the very first apparition, on 13th May, 1917, Our Lady asked: “Pray the Rosary every day!” , and this request was to be repeated by her every month until October.

So, calling to mind the insistence with which God, by means of the Fatima Message, recommends the prayer of the Rosary, and also all that the Church’s Magisterium has said about it over the years, we can conclude that the Rosary is a form of vocal prayer which, in general, suits all of us, for which we should have the highest regard, and which we should make the greatest effort never to abandon…

I assure you that the Rosary is a biblical prayer and that it is part of the sacred Liturgy

The saying of the Rosary is the form of prayer which has been most recommended by all the Popes who served the Church in recent centuries.

His Holiness John Paul II expressed his intimate feelings, and his way of living the prayer of the Rosary in these words of 29th October, 1978: “A prayer marvellous in its simplicity and in its depth! In this prayer, we repeat over and over again the words which the Virgin Mary heard from the Archangel and from her cousin Elizabeth. The whole Church joins in these words. (…) At the same time our heart can include in these decades of the Rosary all the events which go to make up the life of the individual, the family, the nation, the Church, and the whole of humanity. Thus the simple prayer of the Rosary marks the rhythm of human life.(…) A prayer which is so simple and so rich! I cordially exhort all to pray it”. ]

This fragment is taken from the book “Calls from the Message of Fatima” written by Sister Lucia, page 270

What is your testimony regarding a prayer of the Rosary? We would like to hear your thoughts. Please share a Message of Hope.

Messages of Our Lady of Fatima available in 12 languages

Messages of Our Lady of Fatima now are revelant more than ever in history. Our Lady came down from heaven and appeared in humble village of Fatima to three little shepherds- Jacinta, Francisco and Lucia. This all was back in 1917. But today we look back at the history and our current state and we realise, we had to answer to Our Lady’s requests and warnings with the biggest respect and urgency.

Message of Fatima is a call urging us for Penance, Forgiveness, Hope + Love +Faith, Reflection on Eternal Life, a call to Devotion, Perfection, Holiness and Total Consecration. God entrusted His Message through his most holy Mother to the humble little shepherds of the Cova da Iria, in order to convey once again his perennial calls to the people of today. The entire Message of Fatima is a call to pay attention to His divine Law.

“The Call to Fátima” is a 2-part film documentary explaining the story and the message of Fatima in great detail. This film is based on the last visionary’s of Fatima  Sister Lucia dos Santos writings, namely her first book “Fatima in Lucia’s own words” and “Calls from the Message of Fatima”. Messages of Fatima are now available in 12 languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French, German, Polish, Slovak, Latvian, Russian, Chinese and Arabic) via these books and “The Call to Fatima” film.

Sister Lucia’s last wish was to spread the Message of Fatima and make it known to as many poeple as possible. Our Lady tought this prayer to little children : “Oh my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell and lead ALL SOULS to heaven especially those most in need.” Please God, more and more people may learn, understand and evangelise the Message of Fátima, the Message of Penance, Forgiveness and great Hope. Ave Maria!

Devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary

The Call to devotion to

the Immaculate Heart of Mary

“Jesus wants …to establish in the world devotion to my Immaculate Heart.”

To establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary means to bring people to a full consecration through conversion, self-dedication, intimate esteem, veneration and love. Thus, it is in this spirit of consecration and conversion that God wishes to establish in the world devotion to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

We all know, that a mother’s heart represents love in the bosom of a family.  In fact, it is love which makes the mother bend over her  baby’s cradle, sacrifice herself for it, give herself, rush to the defence of her child. All children trust in the heart of their mother, and we all know that we have in her a place of special affection.

The same applies to the Virgin Mary. Thus the Message says: “My Immaculate Heart will be your refuge and the way that will lead you to God.”

More detailed information and documented material about devotion to Immaculate Heart of Mary and the Message of Fatima can be seen on the DVD “The Call to Fátima”, which comes in combination with Sister Lucia’s last book “Calls from the Message of Fátima” http://www.thecalltofatima.com/

25th March- feast of the Annunciation in Sister Lucia’s words

Sister Lucia talks about the Annunciation in her books "Calls from the message of Fatima"Through this feast day God reveals to us how the incarnation of the Word took place; He speaks to us of the mystery of the Most Holy Trinity, that is one God in three distinct Persons: “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy, the Son of God”.

God did not choose just any woman to be the Mother of His Son who, of course, could not assume a nature stained by sin. Therefore He made Mary immaculate from the first instant of her life, the moment of her conception; and she remained always a virgin. If Mary had not been full of grace and all holy, the Angel could not have said to her that she was full of grace, because she would have some stain of sin in her.

Through the merits of the Word made flesh, from whom we receive pardon and grace, we also, if we are fortunate enough to possess the gift of faith and to live a good life, are living temples of the adorable Trinity.
